Reflection on Web 2.0 Tools

I found the web 2.0 tool project to be one of the most interesting and really helpful projects that I've ever done during my college years. Some of the tools were known to me, however I had much more to learn about them. This project made the learning process of each tool easy and fast.

Google+
I had never heard of Google+ before this project and I found it to be wonderful. It helped me discover new ways to keeping in touch with others. It is really easy to use and I specially liked the circles system which I had never seen before.

Google Search
Everybody, and I mean everybody knows Google Search so of course I was no stranger to it. I've had the pleasure of using it numerous times before but this project made me see it in a different way. I had the pleasure of learning about a few new useful ways to use it such as the instant calculator and the instant definition. What I loved most was the new fun way of using Google Search such as playing pacman and many other things.

Google Chrome
I usually use firefox as my default browser and use Google Chrome as a backup. This project made me see the usefulness of Google Chrome and how easy it is to use it. It made me realize the amount of useful things that I can do on Google Chrome like adding many apps to my browser. I've also loved the way you can get the bookmarks as icons on the bookmarks toolbar.
Usefulness Ranking: 10/10

Google Maps
I had heard of Google Maps but never used it before. Whenever I go somewhere that I've never been to before, I use Google Maps. It is a very helpful tool that is very easy to use and manage. As a Samsung user I get all the direction information directly from Google Maps to my phone which is very convenient.
Usefulness Ranking: 10/10

Gmail
I used to use hotmail as my main email address but not anymore. Gmail is one of the easiest tools that I've ever used. It's simplicity is what makes it a great tool.

Google Docs
As a college student I have to do many projects. I'm very upset that I didn't get to know about Google Docs sooner. It is a great, very helpful tool that is easy to use and manage. I only wished that the power point tool would have more options when it comes to design.
Usefulness Ranking: 8/10

Google Calendar
I've never been a person who would schedule appointments in a calendar. Always thought it would be too complicated but not with Google Calendar. It is a very easy to use tool that can be managed fast and easy.
Usefulness Ranking: 9/10

Google Sites
I've had to do a site in a previous year using another program. It was hard and complicated but not with Google Sites. Google Sites is a really useful, easy to use tool which anyone can operate. The editing options are rich and easy to access. I really loved using this tool.
Usefulness Ranking: 10/10

Google Drive
I found that Google Drive is a really helpful tool. Sharing and accessing documents doesn't get any easier than this.
Usefulness Ranking: 10/10

Blogs
I've never dared to do a blog before but now I know I can. Specially since I found it to be this easy. Blogs are an exquisit tool that is wonderful for sharing thoughts, ideas and many more. I loved using Blogs and sharing my thoughts with others.

Picasa
I had never heard of Picasa before but im glad I know about it now. Picasa is one of the most useful tools when it comes to managing your pictures. I found it to be really easy to use. I loved the ability to edit and share pictures with a few clicks. I was looking for a program like this but now I've stopped the search.
